About Robyn

Hello...!  My name is Robyn Anderson and I am a calligraphy and art teacher based in beautiful South Africa. I love teaching and I promise to be patient and encouraging throughout your creative journey. I can teach anyone, even if you have terrible handwriting, or are left handed, think you’re not creative, or have any other ‘curse’ that you believe is standing in the way of you being able to write, paint and draw beautifully.

I've been teaching Calligraphy on and off for the past 20 something years. I am passionate about teaching, and what makes me the most happy is when I see a student getting in touch with their creative side, especially when they think they're not creative. Calligraphy, in it's various forms, is perfect for all of us... if you can write and hold a pen, then you can do calligraphy! As for drawing and painting… we start with baby steps and go from there.

In addition to teaching calligraphy and hand lettering, I am also a handwriting coach and have helped many people (especially kids) overcome their handwriting issues.
