How do I work out the time in my country for a zoom workshop?

On your mobile:

Go to your Clock and select the World Clock (might differ on Androids). Add Johannesburg, South Africa as a city, and then you will be able to see the number of hours that you are ahead or behind me (I’m based in Johannesburg).

In this example Johannesburg IS my city, so I am choosing Perth as the city I want to see the time zone for. Click the + (pic 1), add your chosen city (pic 2), and then you can see how many hours the time difference is (pic 3)

On your laptop or PC:

You can search for ‘World Clock’ on your computer and type in Johannesburg, South Africa as a destination. Then you’ll see the number of hours that you are ahead or behind me. You can also select the convert option and then scroll across to find the time of MY workshop and it will convert to the corresponding time in YOUR country.

Once the World Clock is open on your screen, click on the + at the bottom (red circle) and then enter Johannesburg, South Africa because that’s where I am based.

(In this example my city is Johannesburg, so I am going to choose Perth as the city I want to see the time zone for)

Once you have the two cities loaded, then you can see what the time difference is in hours.

(In this example MY city is Johannesburg, so I can see that Perth is 6 hours ahead of my time.

Select the ‘convert’ function (red circle) if you want to work out the time difference using a specific time, e.g. what will the time in YOUR city be if the workshop you want to do is at 10:00am South African time

Then scroll across to find the time of MY workshop and it will convert to the corresponding time in YOUR country.

(In this example MY city is Johannesburg, so I am going to convert the time of 10:00 S.A. time to the Perth time. I can then see that the time for the workshop will be 16:00 in Perth)

Hope this helps!
